Technology has immensely impacted us, esp. after World War II. Of course it is a continuation of Pure Sciences and Engineering, on the spectrum. Our people are pretty illiterate on technology, they are mere button pushers. This needs to change. Also India has to learn to come forth its own advances in mankind’s grasp of technology, it can’t surge ahead on importing obsolescent technologies. Let this too change.
And as Toffler commented, Future Shock is indeed a shock. Future dawning on us at a phenomenal tsunami pace. My deep engagement with Innovation, its Mindset & Cultural Implications drives me further this path. Have been critical of those who cite lack of funds to splurge as the barrier in this regard.
